Nah, KC will be without Chris Jones next year. Jones stopped two TD passes by Purdy by causing errant throws. I can't see that defense being as dominant next year.

He was efficient as hell. Had 400 yards of offense, including 66 on the ground and clutch as hell runs. With pretty crappy O-line play -- Niners were pressuring him

Purdy had the better game. People should stop looking at just the score. Mahomes couldn't score a TD at the end of regulation to win the game. Once again no TDs in the last quarter. Sure, Mahomes had a really good game but Purdy made a lot of big time throws. Mahomes did have 2 nice runs but nothing special throwing other than a 52 yd play that should have been picked.
A muffed punt and missed extra point lost the game. It wasn't Mahomes outplaying Purdy. The interception was bad. The bad pitch stopped a drive.
What game did you watch? Name the plays that Purdy missed where Jones or someone else didn't ruin the play. You could go either way, They graded close to the same. If SF pulled the game out eveyone would have said Mahomes lost the game by the int and settling for the FG inside the 10.
